I’m 27 years old, and I’m currently working in the United Arab Emirates as an Industrial Engineer, and been in the country for more than 3 years.

 

On November 8, 2013, my life changed when a super typhoon hit our area, and I witnessed how God protected our lives and properties. A few weeks after the typhoon, my aunt led our family to know Jesus personally, and since then He has been my Savior and Lord.

 

I saw that the destruction left by the typhoon led people to hopelessness, desperation, hunger, and poverty. I also saw however the glimmer of hope in the eyes of those who heard about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. When I decided to follow Jesus, He led me to the darkest places. I have witnessed how He brought hope and life-giving light. I met people whose love for God encouraged me to draw myself closer to Him and know Him more. 

 

Now, I felt God is leading me to the nation of Japan. Japan was the nation that I asked for as my inheritance 5 years ago. Although the journey has uncertainties, I’m confident since I have witnessed God’s tangible hand as I took infant steps of faith in obedience.

 

Just like the journey of Abraham to the promised land, it was not easy, but I will choose to trust and obey.
